Well done to our U13 boys who had to dig deep to secure a victory in the final few minutes of their Co Final replay v Blackwater today. On their last outing the sides were level after extra-time. 

 With just one point to spare at half time and very little separating the teams throughout the first thirty minutes, it looked like the team who got the goal would come out on top. With both goalkeepers excellent minding their respective nets, it wasn’t easy but somehow the Alley boys managed to raise the green flag with four minutes remaining. Just before that much-wanted score, the Blackwater boys were on top and scored three unanswered points. That goal got our boys believing in themselves and they got two great scores to give us a two point lead and much to the applause of all our supporters, the Referee sounded the final whistle. Their never say die attitude was admirable and they were deserving winners with captain DJ Cullen accepting the shield on behalf of his team. 

 It was then back to Upton Court for refreshments.
